This is a wall hanging my grandmother made for me and my brother when we were very small. That is me (shirtless) and my brother playing in the pond with our dog Sondy. The blue bird near the top is Twinkle, my mother's old bird. Her dog is the grey one near the front as well... I can't remember his name. Some of the images are drawings of hers from when she was a little girl, others my grandmother just made up. Magical and treasured.
What a treasure. Easy to see how you came to be an artist with such a talented grandmother. Must be in the genes.
