They are not, but they look like they could be. Australian war shields. Wouldn't they make great designs for beads?

    These are absolutely fabulous inspiration for beads - I love them...but the I'm a bit of a 'tribal' fiend myself & being from 'down under', so to speak, they would appeal ;o)
