More Blue Beads

and a too silly green face:

Going Batty!

I think bats are cute. We used to have some living in the eves of our old house... that wasn't so much cute as a pain in the neck as they attracted a nasty bug infection... ick... so, anway... back to the task at hand, cute bats. It's almost Halloween but there is still time to get these in the mail to you so you can wear it on the BIG day. My favorite holiday of the year :-)

All on etsy, sold individually, of course. Thanks for looking!

Wild Thing!

Have you seen the movie yet? We did. I loved it (though thought it could have been just a bit shorter). I agree with Luke that it wasn't a very happy movie at all. He rated it a 6. Or a 4. Or a 6. Frank fell asleep, so that tells you either he was bored out of his skull, or just tired. Maybe both. And it's not really all that good a movie for little kids. More for the adults that grew up with the story maybe. Beautifully done though. Dark, moody, great imagery.

Magic Blue Glass

I had so much fun yesterday playing with my favorite color. I made tree beads, and beach beads and galaxy beads and an eye bead... two are already sold, but the rest are all up on Etsy.

Some Necklaces

This one I made for my Mom, for her birthday. The focal is an old earring of my Grandmother's. Matching earrings.

This one is my Kesia Memory necklace... the heart is by Mr. Smiley, and it has 14 baubles for each year of her life.

And one of my trees that I decided to keep for myself. Lucky me :)

More Chalcedony Beads

I've been experimenting, trying to figure out how to make my big lentil focals with the Gaffer Chalcedony and still keep the gorgeous color... I've been trying some frit (crushed glass) with it and that seems to really make the glass pop. Next try, adding in my twistie, stringer and bubble treatments! In the meantime, these are all available on Etsy. Thanks for looking!

Spooky Halloween Trees

Back to the old stomping grounds - trees! With some new twists (literally) and layering of many glasses to really get the backgrounds to glow. Trees make me happy.

And now for something a little different....

No lampwork, no glass... but how about a starfish necklace for a change? Available in my shop on Etsy. Thanks for looking!
