Strange Place

My grandfather passed away and I painted this odd painting. It's really big, I don't know maybe 3 feet tall.

  1. Did your grandfather just recently pass away? I'm sorry to hear. I can appreciate your response to losing someone you love, by making a painting you're making your feelings visible. The painting is like an illustration of a dream. I hope you're doing alright. I'm sending you good energy right now.

  2. hi Maureen - thank you so much. Yes, he was sick for a very long time. They gave him 6 months about 15 years ago... and he's been fighting it and fighting it. He was amazingly strong, right up to the end. It's funny though, living 3000 miles away... I said my good byes to him every time I saw him, once or twice a year, not expecting to see him again each time... so I thought I was ready... well more ready... than I was. But I'm ok, and it's good to know he's not struggling in pain anymore. That is the best thing. Thank you for sending your engery. xoxo
